    The Governor-Elect Whitmer transition team seeks people ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work to build a Better Michigan.     We are accepting résumés of individuals who will lead key state departments and the staff that will support these leaders. Unclassified positions may include: 1) Legislative liaisons who will assist the cabinet member in building relationships with the Michigan Legislature; 2) Communications staff who will develop and implement an efficient and comprehensive communications program to inform the public of the departments’ missions, policies and initiatives. Please indicate the position(s) you would like to be considered for:
    Applicants for the Governor’s office must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational skills and must be detail oriented. The Governor’s staff is often the first point of contact with the public on behalf of the Governor and must be responsive to citizens who reach out to the Executive Office on everything from responding to invitations to the Governor, to requests for assistance from state government. Please indicate the position(s) you would like to be considered for:
    The Governor appoints individuals to state boards and commissions that provide policy advice in specific areas like agriculture and transportation or perform licensing and regulatory functions. Please indicate if you are interested in consideration for an appointed board or commission.
